Tsu was founded by a small group of people including Sebastian Sobczak, Drew Ginsburg, and Thibault Boullenger. The social network was created with an inspirational twist – it allows members to maintain control of their content and even compensates them by giving back 90% of ad revenues to site members.

Unlike Facebook Tsu doesn’t restrict content reach, it doesn’t require members to pay for follower reach and Tsu values member content.

If you are an artist like me you are likely finding this to be uplifting news. I was excited to have found a social site that had an emerging creative community. Tsu is the first social site I’ve found where I feel comfortable signing in. That’s probably because I signed up under @dexterroona; he’s a great Tsu parent. He was there from my first day on the site and still is.

Dexter introduced me to great users whom I say good morning to and I’m getting to know. Since my sign up I’ve met other artists that share the same creative energy as I do. I love seeing what members have been busy doing and I chat about anything silly and interesting before picking up my paintbrush and beginning my work for the day.

A Tribute to Tsu Social

So I decided to pay tribute to Tsu because Tsu is changing the social media game in a positive and moral way and making my days brighter. I chose a painting to help represent what Tsu is to me. The piece was completed on a gallery wrapped canvas using oil paints over a black acrylic base. I’m happy with the way my tribute to Tsu turned out and I hope the office team at Tsu is too.

My Tribute to the Tsu Social Network

The piece will be ready for shipping in a couple weeks once a coat of picture varnish has cured, and I hope to send it to them when that process is completed. I’m offering it as a gift to the Tsu team to show about what Tsu means not only to me, but to many users on the site.

I’ve seen, read and shared some of the articles other users are posting supporting the network admidst the recent Facebook and Instagram censorship. Tsu members demonstrate loyalty and a caring attitude through their actions on the site. There is a strong sense of community and many dedicated members.

Thank you Sebastian, Drew and Thibault. You are a small group of people who acted on an inspirational idea that is changing the world of social media, and changing the lives of people like me.

“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
